PConversion Ritual
Evita gradually builds Abyssal Energy. When it is full, her next skill hit consumes all of it and sends the Essence Devourer charging at the target, dealing magic damage to enemies in its path and granting Evita a shield.
1Dark Pulse
Evita launches the Essence Devourer in a target direction. When it hits an enemy or reaches max range it explodes, scattering energy projectiles in all directions that deal damage.
2Hand of Mastery
Evita tears two Abyssal Fissures into the ground. After a short delay Abyssal Energy erupts, dealing damage and slowing enemies; the central area deals increased damage and knocks up.
REssence Blitz
Evita gains a shield and the Essence Devourer stampedes forward, slowing enemies, then switches to seek-and-attack mode. During this time Abyssal Energy builds much faster. Each hit on an enemy deals damage, reduces their magic defense and grants Evita a shield.

Redirected Pulse
12If the target sidesteps Dark Pulse, drop Hand of Mastery where they fled. The fissures catch the dodge and set up the next Dark Pulse on a target that can no longer move.
Turret Dive
R21Start Essence Blitz before you step under the tower. Every Devourer hit refills the shield, so she can absorb several tower shots while Hand of Mastery locks the target in place for the kill.
Flicker Pull
2R1For a backline she cannot reach on foot. Flicker past the frontline, drop Hand of Mastery on the carry and support together, then let the ultimate's slow stop them walking out before Dark Pulse lands.

Evita's first real spike is level 4, when Essence Blitz unlocks. Before that she has no shield and no escape, so she should farm safely and save Hand of Mastery for when the enemy commits. Her second spike comes with Tome of the Reaper and Arctic Orb, which give her enough damage to kill squishy heroes with one combo and a freeze to survive the first assassin dive. She is at her strongest in late-game teamfights around Abyssal Dragon and Dark Slayer, where the enemy has to group up and her ultimate can hit all five of them.

- →Turn on Essence Blitz before you take damage, not after. The shield only stacks while the Devourer is landing hits.
- →Pair Hand of Mastery with an ally's crowd control. A Rouie portal or a Grakk hook drops enemies straight into the center knock-up.
Evita suits players who want a mage that rewards being in the fight instead of poking from the edge of it. Her kit is easy to learn, and one combo does most of the work: pull, pulse, ultimate, repeat. We have her at B for now because ranked data is still coming in, but Thai creators rate her much higher, with several calling her one of the strongest mages in the game. If you play mid and like tanky mages that punish clumped teams, she is worth learning now while most players still do not know her weak points.

Is Evita good in the current ROV patch?+
She is new, so we have placed her at B until there is enough ranked data. Thai creators and players rate her much higher: she is easy to pick up, she survives dives, and several Thai guides call her overpowered. Expect her tier to move once the data catches up.
What is the best build for Evita?+
Flicker with Enlightened, Flurry and Guerrilla runes, then Enchanted Kicks, Arctic Orb, Tome of the Reaper, Holy of Holies, Staff of Nuul and Hecate's Diadem. Arctic Orb is the item to get early if the enemy has dive assassins, because the freeze gives the Devourer time to rebuild her shield.
How do you counter Evita?+
Pick mobile assassins like Nakroth, Murad or Kriknak and catch her before she starts Essence Blitz. Spread out so Hand of Mastery cannot knock up more than one hero, and walk out of the fissures during their short delay.
Is Evita hard to play / good for beginners?+
She is one of the easier mages to learn. Most fights use the same combo: Hand of Mastery, Dark Pulse, Essence Blitz, then Dark Pulse and Hand of Mastery again. The hard part is positioning, because she has no dash and must walk into the fight at the right moment.
